Puni Ana SPDX got a tear :-( how to fix?

Hi Guys,
I have been using the Puni Ana SPDX for about 3-4 weeks now and I have been trying to take really good care of it by washing it after every use and putting it back in its blister package after every use so that the internal skeleton wouldnt get damaged but today when I was washing it in the tub with warm water part of the skin on the top tore, should I try to fix it so that it doesnt get any bigger? is there actually any way to successfully fix it?
