Cheap TPE glue

I just thought I would share a discovery I just made, I graduated into full fledged dolls recently and although they're a bit of a handful (pun intended) they are awesome.
I have had to do some minor repairs both on my doll(s) and onholes in the past.
I'm very skilled with a temperature controlled soldering iron, but sometimes it is better to use a solvent based glue, the doll forum(s) are somewhat upitey IMHO and there isn't a lot of sharing when it comes to technical tricks.
Today I thought I would try liquid model cement, vola! It works!
Glued a piece of left over scrap and it seems to hold really good even though it hasn't completely gassed off!
This isn't a glue that stays, it melts the TPE and welds the joint together, this is sold by TPE doll vendors for up to $35 for a tiny bit, I got a full fl. Oz. For $5 at the hobby shop!
It has to be the liquid in the bottle, not the thicker stuff in the tube.
It needs to be used very sparingly.
And you will have to let it dry off for a day or so before using it.
Hope this is a help.
