Now, I've bought my 4th onahole from NLS earlier this week and got some trouble with the delivery. Yesterday, DHL told me that my package is being held by the customs here in Canada. Apparently, they don't have enough informations about the value of the items in my package or something like that (I will call DHL for more info soon). This is where it gets crazy. To release my package from the customs, they want me to fill a one time power of attorney to give DHL the authorization to act as my broker. They also want me to fill a detailed invoice to describe the content of my package and finally a proof of payment. Holy hell!

However, I'm even more confused right now because 3 days ago, I already paid duties, taxes and fees for my delivery just as DHL told me. So, why are they still holding it?

This problem has never happened before. I buy from NLS and I always make sure to check the option to remove all "artwork" to avoid issues with customs. But now I'm quite nervous because it's my first buying a large onahole (the Puni hip) and since it's a "loli" one, I'm a bit scared (a lot). I sure hope NLS did throw away the included CD from the box or I might faint from a heart attack (damn, I'm still young I don't wanna die!).

I know this is mainly an european forum, but is anyone familiar with canadian customs? I've heard that our customs are quite strict, but I don't think I did any mistake...
Could you please give me some help?

When needed, NLS can send you a detailed invoice proving the content and value. And normally you can find Paypal transaction's details too. At this stage they most likely just do a random check to see if sender and receiver both exist, and the nature of the content (which is "plastic rubber toy" on NLS' shipping document).

But let's think ahead, assuming the box gets opened and they see the plastic rubber toy. Sextoys are legal in Canada. You wanted the onahip, you made sure to request removal of the packaging. No need to play dumb: a single look at it and it's for sure it's a sextoy, but that is the function, not the nature. All they need to know from you is the nature, as you are free to do whatever you want with the toy, including using it for Halloween pranks, making a bonfire with it, or whatever.

If the invoice mentions the name of the product, you can assume they look it up, and see the packaging of it. Since you requested removal of the packaging, you can safely defend that you bought the plastic rubber toy only and you don't care the slightest about the packaging. However, if you get summoned at a police station, remember that you have the right to remain silent and to be defended by a lawyer. What do you want to avoid at all costs is bullshit like "it's a 1:1 scale human hip" or "it doesn't have pubic hair". Stay cool, you did nothing illegal

ps: in case NLS screwed up and still included the CD in the box: print out a proof of your removal request !

You've helped me calm down a bit. I was unsure about possible legal issues. Now that's a relief. ^^

I'll make sure to send the right information to DHL since even if I have to call them again, especially the power of attorney form.
I asked NLS to send a detailed invoice so I don't have to fill the invoice form (I hope it is the case. I'll have to make sure).
Lastly, I will send them my Paypal receipt as proof of payment.

However, this will have to wait 'til monday because of business hours.
I'll post back next week when I have some updates.

Waiting for an update on this one, I'm also Canadian. New to onaholes, just order my first from amazon (sujiman kupa lolinco) because I could ship it to somewhere other than my home, I do t live alone. There are a few holes on NLS I'm interested in that are the loli type. I understand that removing the box art is supposed to make them safe but can anyone attest to this from experience? Some of them like the Tubomi for example looks very look even without the art and the belly button only enhances that effect. I like it because it reminds me of Mary Queen or Taylor Tilden, I'm not into lolis but I like puffy lips. Has anyone order something that so clearly looked like a loli without the box art, had it opened and had no problems in Canada?

Hey! Sorry, it took longer than I expected to get things moving. I sent the required forms to DHL and paid some extra fees for clearance. Now, I hope to see my package moving again soon!

Thuktun, I already bought a loli type onahole (I also like puffy lips. ) about a year ago and had NLS remove questionnable artwork. There was no problem at all, they simply remove the box and put the stuff in plastic wrap. When I opened it, everything was fine!
As a fellow canadian, if you need some info about onahole, local customs, etc; I'll try to help to the best of my knowledge.
I hope you have more luck than me and won't be delayed by the annoying random checks at customs.

For my specific case with the ona hip, I was overly worried because it's the first time my package got held at customs and wasn't sure about what to do. With the useful information Akaihebi provided, I could calm down and got things moving.

If there's no more issue, I'll post an update when I receive my stuff.
