So, I've been looking at the e-packet shipping option on NLS.
You can order up to 2kg for 2700 Yen shipping which is really nice.

On the "shopinfo" page, NLS clearly states to calculate into that 2kg the 200g of the box it will ship in. That's okay, I understand.
So I can order 1800 gram of total product weight then.
However, whenever I try to go above 1600 gram, the e-packet option gets disabled and I'm left with EMS only.
So am I paying for 200 grams of extra air? (Is NLS endorsed by Lays chips?)

And it doesn't matter what products I choose.
Tried adding random things and even if I don't order any onaholes and just fill it with condoms, lube or other small things, the limit is still 1600, so it's not about the space in the box either.
I figured out the 1600gram limit by adding various amounts of 50-60gr pocket onaholes and that small finger bean rotor which weighs only 6 gram.

Could you guys please explain to me why this happens or perhaps check if it's borked for you as well?
Would be a shame to let that additional 200gram out, since it would be enough for another small lube or a small onahole, maybe 3 pocket onaholes or any other stuff depending on the combo.

This is really interesting, I wonder if it's a bug or intentional.

On NLS, take 3 La Bocca mouth of truth onaholes, each 500g, which combines to 1500 gram.
Then 2 Ona Plus Mini, 50g each = 100gram so the toal is now 1600gram, the e-packet option is still available.
Put in just 1 more Ona Plus Mini or anything and the e-packet option is disabled.

However, at 1650g, the EMS price still shows the "up to 2,000g" price category for 4600Yen and you can put other stuff in the cart until 1800g.
Every other weight and price range works for both e-packet and EMS.
Hm, any idea guys?
Otherwise I think I'll write to NLS tomorrow.

So, got an answer from NLS.

The 1600g limit is indeed intentional, because there is a high probability that this weight, together with the bigger box it ships in, would go over the 2kg limit.
If by any chance the total weight of your products+parcel still goes over 2kg, then NLS will contact you after packing.

Sounds reasonable.
